Choosing a professional meeting room device is not only a question of camera resolution. A good room should make online meetings easy to start, comfortable to hear and predictable for every user. The right Yealink set depends on the room size, meeting platform, table layout, acoustics, displays and the way people actually use the space.

Start with the room, not with the model

Small huddle rooms, medium conference rooms and large boardrooms need different equipment. A compact video bar may be enough for a small room, while a larger space may require stronger audio, additional microphones, a PTZ camera or a more advanced room system. Before selecting a model, it is worth checking how many people sit in the room, where they sit and how far they are from the display and camera.

Choose the meeting scenario

If your company mainly uses Microsoft Teams, a Teams Rooms setup will usually be the most convenient. If Zoom is the primary platform, a Zoom Rooms setup may be more natural.
